2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped (or canned peaches, drained)

For the Topping:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and egg. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
