Ingredients

2 cups fresh watermelon, diced

2 cups ripe peaches, sliced (about 2-3 medium peaches)

1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced

1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled (optional)

2 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced watermelon, sliced peaches, and cucumber. Gently toss to mix the fruits together.

Add the Onion and Basil: Sprinkle the finely chopped red onion and torn basil leaves over the fruit mixture.

Create the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper until the honey is well incorporated into the dressing.

Combine Together: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss everything together until the fruits and vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.

Add the Finishing Touch: If using, sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top just before serving for an extra layer of flavor.

Chill and Serve: Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve cold as a refreshing side dish or light meal.
