1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)

6 large eggs

1 cup cream cheese, softened

3 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for a richer texture)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and set the sausage aside.

      Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined. The cream cheese may take a bit to mix in, so ensure it's softened for easier blending.

        Combine Hash Browns and Sausage: In a large baking dish (9x13 inches works well), evenly spread the thawed hash browns as the base layer. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the hash browns.
