Ingredients

1 lb beef tenderloin, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped

Fresh arugula leaves, for garnish

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, toss the beef tenderloin cubes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Allow them to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef cubes and sear for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

Toast the Baguette: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Parmesan Cream Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, garlic, and rosemary. Whisk together until combined and heated through, about 3-4 minutes. Do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Crostini: On each toasted baguette slice, place a piece of cooked beef tenderloin. Drizzle with the Parmesan cream sauce and garnish with fresh arugula leaves.

Serve: Arrange the crostini on a platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
