1 lb ground beef

1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked

2 cups beef broth

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

1 small onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the diced onions and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

      Mix the Ingredients: In the same skillet, stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, frozen mixed vegetables, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

        Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

          Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.

            Cover and Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
