1/2 cup popcorn kernels

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy twist)

Pop the Corn: In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add three or four popcorn kernels to the pot, cover, and wait for them to pop. Once popped, add the remaining popcorn kernels in an even layer. Cover the pot and shake it gently to coat the kernels with oil. Continue cooking, shaking occasionally, until the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops. Remove from heat.

    Make the Herb Butter: While the popcorn cooks, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, stir in the sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper. Allow the butter to simmer on low for 1-2 minutes, letting the herbs infuse.
