2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 tablespoon lime juice

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely diced (optional for heat)

1 head of butter lettuce or romaine, leaves separated

Lime wedges for serving

Prepare the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
