Ingredients

1 pound frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)

1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)

½ cup diced onions

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Slow Cooker: Plug in your slow cooker and set it to the low heat setting.

Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.

Layer Ingredients: Place the frozen meatballs at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the meatballs.

Add Vegetables: Scatter the sliced mushrooms and diced onions over the meatballs. If using, add the frozen peas for a pop of color and extra flavor.

Cook: Cover the slow cooker with the lid. Let it cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the flavors meld together.

Serve: Once cooked, give everything a gentle stir. Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs over cooked rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
