Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Start by husking the corn and removing all silk. Rinse the ears of corn under cold water and pat them dry.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/200°C).

Butter the Corn: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn, making sure it gets into all the nooks and crannies. Reserve a bit of the butter for basting while grilling.

Grill the Corn: Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning every few minutes until the corn is tender and has nice grill marks.

Baste the Corn: While grilling, occasionally brush the corn with the remaining garlic butter for an extra flavor boost.

Finish Off: Once done, remove the corn from the grill. If desired, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over each ear for a zesty touch.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the grilled corn with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy the smoky, buttery goodness!
