1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce (optional for drizzling)

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Base: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until combined. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture resembles wet sand.

      Form the Crust: Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, packing it down firmly. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until set.

        Add Chocolate: Remove the crust from the oven and evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips over the warm crust. Allow them to sit for a couple of minutes to soften.

          Add Marshmallows: Once the chocolate chips are softened, spread them evenly across the crust with a spatula. Top with the mini marshmallows.

            Broil for Toasting: Switch your oven to broil and place the pan back in for about 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and toasted. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.

              Cool and Slice: Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. For a cleaner cut, refrigerate for an additional 20 minutes before slicing into bars.

                Drizzle Fudge Sauce (optional): If desired, drizzle chocolate fudge sauce over the top of the bars before serving for an extra gooey touch.
