1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup salted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark, your choice)

1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping)

A pinch of sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and crumbly.

      Add Egg and Vanilla: Stir in the egg and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms. This will be the crust of your bars.

        Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan using your hands or the back of a spatula to create a firm base.

          Bake the Crust: Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until firm. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

            Layer the S'mores: Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips (1/2 cup) evenly over the crust, followed by all the mini marshmallows. Then add the remaining chocolate chips on top.

              Crush & Sprinkle: Evenly sprinkle the crushed graham crackers over the marshmallows and chocolate layers.

                Final Bake: Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and puffy.

                  Cool and Slice: Allow the bars to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes. Once cooled, lift the bars out using the parchment paper, and slice them into squares.

                    Serve and Enjoy: Optionally, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt before serving. Enjoy your delicious S'mores bars warm or at room temperature!
