1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Extra graham cracker crumbs for topping

Optional: additional chocolate chips for topping

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

        Add Chocolate and Graham Cracker Crumbs: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs until evenly distributed.

          Prepare the Mixture: Reserve about 1 cup of the dough for topping the bars later. Press the remaining dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

            Add Marshmallows: Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the pressed cookie dough base.

              Top with Reserved Dough: Crumble the reserved dough over the marshmallows, covering them as evenly as possible. Sprinkle extra graham cracker crumbs and optional chocolate chips on top for added flavor.

                Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

                  Cool and Slice: Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing them into squares. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing.
