Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 1/2 cups apple pie filling (or any fruit filling of your choice)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour this wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Pour the cobbler batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Spoon the apple pie filling over the batter, distributing it evenly.

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture over the apple filling.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the cobbler comes out clean.

Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving. This dish is delicious warm, topped with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream!
