Ingredients

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 tablespoon milk

1 tablespoon chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.

Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, cinnamon, and salt to the mug. Stir to combine until smooth.

Pour in the milk and mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. If you're using chocolate chips, fold them in at this stage.

Microwave the mug on high for about 40-60 seconds. Keep an eye on it because cooking times may vary based on your microwave. It’s ready when it has puffed up and the top is set.

Let it cool for a minute before diving in. Enjoy your warm and gooey snickerdoodle cookie straight from the mug!
