Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.

Make the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Drying them ensures they get crispy during cooking. Place the wings in the bowl with the marinade and toss until they are evenly coated.

Marinate: Allow the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for even more flavor.

Arrange on Rack: Take the marinated wings and arrange them in a single layer on the wire rack. Drizzle with vegetable oil to help achieve that golden crisp.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Sauce: While the wings are baking, you can make an extra sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the remaining marinade and bring it to a simmer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. This will be your dipping sauce.

Garnish and Serve: Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Toss the wings in the thickened sauce for extra flavor. Transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds.

Enjoy: Serve your spicy Sriracha honey chicken wings hot with the extra dipping sauce on the side. Perfect for game day, parties, or any casual get-together!
