2 pounds chicken drumsticks

½ cup soy sauce

¼ cup honey

⅓ cup sweet chili sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. This will be your sticky glaze.

    Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken drumsticks in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for more flavor.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

        Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the heat circulate around the drumsticks, giving them a perfect crispy exterior.
