1 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

    In a medium saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

      Once cooled, stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.

        Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.

          In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the chocolate mixture until just combined.

            Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, being careful not to overmix to maintain the strawberry pieces' integrity.

              Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter).

                  Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
