1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

For the Creamy Frosting:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon fresh strawberries, finely chopped (for flavor and color)

Prepare for Baking: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Make the Strawberry Puree: In a blender or food processor, blend the fresh strawberries until smooth. You should have about 1 cup of puree.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix well until combined. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and strawberry puree and stir until smooth.

        Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

          Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing. If using, gently fold in the chocolate chips.

            Bake the Brownies: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
