1 pound ground beef (or turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

For the Sweet Chili Sauce:

1 cup sweet chili sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (to thicken, optional)

Garnish:

Chopped green onions

Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

Prepare the Meatballs:

    - In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix gently until just combined.

      Form the Meatballs:

        - Roll the mixture into bite-sized meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet. You should get about 20 meatballs.

          Preheat the Crockpot:

            - Set your crockpot to low while you prepare the sauce.

              Mix the Sauce:

                - In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and grated ginger until well combined.

                  Cooking in the Crockpot:
