Ingredients

2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)

1 cup peach preserves

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh peaches (for garnish, optional)

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ribs:

    - Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

      - Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (this helps them cook better). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

        - Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Make sure to rub the spice mix evenly on both sides.

          Create the Peach BBQ Sauce:

            - In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the peach preserves, apple cider vinegar, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the mixture is well combined and heated through.

              - Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and reserve half of the sauce for later use.

                Bake the Ribs:

                  - Place the seasoned ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, meaty side up. Cover the ribs tightly with another layer of aluminum foil.

                    - Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone easily.

                      Glaze and Grill:

                        - Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

                          - Once the ribs are tender, carefully remove them from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush generous amounts of the peach BBQ sauce over the ribs.

                            - Transfer the ribs to the hot grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning frequently and brushing with more sauce, until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.

                              Serve:

                                - Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice between the bones to serve.

                                  - Optionally, garnish with fresh peach slices and chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Enjoy your Sweet Heat Peach BBQ Ribs with your favorite sides like coleslaw or cornbread!
