Ingredients

For the Rolls:

3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup warm milk (around 110°F)

2 large eggs, at room temperature

Optional: melted butter for brushing

For the Honey Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

      - In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.

        - Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

          Knead the Dough:

            - Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Knead it for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

              - Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

                Shape the Rolls:

                  - Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles. Turn it out onto a floured surface again.

                    - Roll the dough into a log, then divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a smooth ball.

                      Second Rise:

                        - Place the dough balls on a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each one. Cover with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes, or until they puff up.

                          Preheat Oven:

                            - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                              Bake the Rolls:

                                - Once the rolls have risen, brush the tops with melted butter if desired. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown.

                                  Prepare the Honey Butter:

                                    - While the rolls are baking, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl. Mix until creamy and well combined.

                                      Serve:

                                        - Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with additional melted butter if you like.

                                          - Serve warm with the honey butter on the side. Enjoy your delicious Texas Roadhouse-inspired rolls!
