Ingredients

1 pre-made pie crust

1 cup crushed saltine crackers

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup peanut butter, melted

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Bake it for 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed saltine crackers, sugar, cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips. Mix until evenly distributed.

In another bowl, whisk together the melted peanut butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Gradually fold the egg mixture into the dry ingredients, ensuring everything is well combined.

Pour the filling into the baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until set in the center.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely at room temperature.

Serve slices of Texas Trash Pie with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
