2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Cinnamon Filling:

½ cup brown sugar, packed

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

      Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and light in color (about 2-3 minutes). Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

        Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.

          Make the Cinnamon Filling: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter, stirring until well mixed.

            Roll out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the cookie dough into a rectangular shape, about ¼ inch thick.
