Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prep Pizza Dough: If using store-bought pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 6-inch long rope and tie it into a knot. Place the knots onto the prepared baking sheet.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Coat Garlic Knots: Using a pastry brush, generously brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot, making sure to coat them thoroughly.

Parmesan Sprinkle: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the knots, ensuring an even distribution.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and puffed up.

Final Brush: Once removed from the oven, brush the knots with any remaining garlic butter for an extra burst of flavor.

Serve: Allow the garlic knots to cool slightly before serving, ideally with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your addictive snack!
