2 pounds ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup ketchup

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

2 cups frozen tater tots

1 cup pickles, diced

4 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned. Drain excess grease.

      Add Vegetables: To the beef, add the diced onion and garlic. Cook until the onion becomes translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

        Combine Ingredients: Remove the skillet from heat, then stir in ketchup and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Fold in the diced pickles.

          Assemble the Casserole: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly. Top with the frozen tater tots in a single layer. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.

            Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
