Ingredients

For the Stuffed Shells:

20 large jumbo pasta shells

2 cups ricotta cheese

1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped

1 cup fresh crab meat

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Sauce:

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup white wine (optional)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp oregano

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Pasta Shells: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

Prepare Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped shrimp, crab meat, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, parsley, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Shells: Take each cooked shell and carefully fill it with the seafood mixture. Place the stuffed shells seam-side up in a greased baking dish.

Make the Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the heavy cream and white wine (if using), and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.

Assemble the Dish: Pour the sauce evenly over the stuffed shells in the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, spray foil with cooking spray, or use parchment paper) and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish & Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your ultimate seafood stuffed shells!
