Warm & Cozy Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients
  

1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee

1 cup milk (can substitute with almond, oat, or soy milk)

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream (optional for topping)

Cinnamon stick (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and pumpkin puree. Whisk together until well blended and heated through, but not boiling.

    Stir in the sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Continue to heat for another minute, stirring frequently.

      In a separate cup, brew your espresso or strong coffee. If you have an espresso machine, add a double shot for a more intense flavor.

        Pour the espresso into a large mug, followed by the warm pumpkin milk blend. Stir gently to combine.

          Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream, and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon if desired. Optionally, garnish with a cinnamon stick.

            Serve warm and enjoy your cozy autumn beverage!
