Ingredients

8 oz white chocolate, finely chopped

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons limoncello

Zest of 1 lemon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

1/4 cup crushed pistachios or shredded coconut (optional, for rolling)

Instructions

Heat Cream: In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat immediately.

Melt Chocolate: Place the finely chopped white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes to soften the chocolate.

Mix Ingredients: Add the limoncello, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture. Gently stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

Chill Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1-2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.

Form Truffles: Once the mixture has set, use a small cookie scoop or your hands to form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Coat the Truffles: Roll each truffle in powdered sugar or crushed pistachios/coconut for a decorative touch. Shake off any excess coating.

Set and Serve: Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to set fully. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
